✨Project Street Pup!✨

Renovation of our shelter in Hua Hin

Over the years it became clear that many improvements were needed for our shelter so that our dogs can stay with us under better conditions.

Thanks to financial support from various private individuals, a contribution from the foundation www.dierennood.nl and a significant contribution from the foundation www.dierenhulp.nl we have been able to drastically renovate our shelter in Hua Hin!

And the result is stunning!❤️

Monthly sterilization days

In the last 3 months we have been able to sterilize more than 665 dogs and cats!

We received a lot of requests for sterilization, but unfortunately we do not always have the financial resources to honor all requests. That has now changed!

In June, the foundation www.dierennood.nl announced its support for sterilization and in July we received good news again! This time from the foundation www.dierenhulp.nl! They supports us with a significant monthly amount, so that sterilizations can continue in the future.

Both foundations are convinced that sterilization offers the long-term solution. We are very happy with these collaborations. Together we are strong!❤️

Visit!

Board member and good friend Kitty Boonman visited our shelter (Baan with love) in Hua Hin. Kitty was very enthusiastic about the renovation that has taken place in the recent months.

And she was happy to see all the dogs in the shelter in good health! She spent a lovely time actively socializing and washing the dogs! ❤️

Care on the street!

We often come across strange cases like this dog.
The dog had a bone stuck between her teeth. This problem is unfortunately common in street dogs, as Thai people often do not realize the dangers when feeding dogs. The food often contain bones or wooden skewers. If dogs like these are not helped, they risk starvation and ultimately death.

Fortunately, one of the volunteers noticed this problem and the dog was helped on the spot. Dog happy, we happy!❤️

❤️ RIP Luke & Lucky ❤️

Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to 2 sweethearts in our shelter, Luke & Lucky!
Luke was an old dog who came to us from Bangkok 4 months ago. Lucky was one of our rescued dogs of 2012 and lived with the monks at a temple for a long time. Due to being older and more care needed, she lived in our shelter in Hua Hin for the last 2 years of her life. Luke & Lucky, we will never forget you. Rest in peace!

Acute assistance

Our volunteers are almost daily engaged in providing assistance, which is a crucial aspect of our work.
Besides the earlier case involving the dog with the bone, we encountered another serious situation. This dog had been injured in a fight with another dog. It's essential to handle bites with care to avoid infection. We administered a sedative to the dog, allowing us to treat his wounds properly. The dog is now recovering well.

We also help dogs at the beach

We’re here to help wherever we can—even on the beach! Many street dogs are often found in and around beachside restaurants, where they receive food and care from the restaurant owners. These adorable dogs also require proper medical attention, so we’ve made sure to vaccinate all of them once again!

2 successful adoptions!

This young dog was left behind by Burmese workers at a construction camp in Hua Hin—a sadly common occurrence. When workers move to new sites, dogs that have grown attached to them are often abandoned. Thankfully, we found a loving home for this sweet dog in Bangkok, where he is warmly welcomed and will spend the rest of his life. Best wishes to him.
And another sweetheart has also been adopted!

His name is Tofu.

He was hit by a car and left injured on the street. He staggered to a home of a Thai lady. This lady asked us for help. Photos showed he had broken his right femur and dislocated his left hip. He has undergone major surgery and is now doing very well!

The Thai lady adopted this very sweet dog into her home. All's well that ends well! Thanks to your donations, we can continue to help dogs like these!

BECOME A TEAMER FOR ONLY 1 EURO PER MONTH

Would you also like to become a Teamer of our Foundation for only 1 euro per month? So we can help dogs in need!

It would be great if we had 500 Teamers! That is... 500 x 1 euro = 500 euros per month! We can really make a difference with that.

These entirely benefit the stray dogs and cats in Thailand for sterilization, vaccination, preventive medication, veterinary costs and food.

Photo of the Month

Last but not least, A Pawesome Greeting!

Dear Animal Friends,

How time flies!

We have had another 3 successful months. In the Netherlands I have had some very pleasant and successful contacts with foundations that provide help for animals that desperately need it. This has resulted in 2 new collaborations, namely the foundation www.dierennood.nl and the foundation www.dierenhulp.nl, which support our main activity with a generous financial contribution every month. Our main goal is sterilization.

In the past 3 months, our on-site team led by project coordinator Nilobon Naknoi has achieved very good results.

I look at the achievements of our team with great pride and gratitude.

In the Netherlands I will do everything I can to continue to offer our team all the help and support and that is only possible with your help!

Thank you very much!
