New (old) resident!
We have a new resident in our shelter! 12 years ago I, Marlie, found Lucky seriously injured on the street as a puppy. After recovery she lived with the monks for many years where I continued to treat her preventively against parasites and also provided her with all necessary vaccinations.
Unfortunately, her health has deteriorated this year. She suffers from kidney failure and lost a lot of weight. She is now in our shelter where she is intensively cared for every day. She will live in our shelter forever and feels completely at home. @Annelies Moolenaar thank you for sponsoring Lucky all these years. ❤️

Pine is doing Fine
A while ago we found a dog named Pine with severe broken bones in his leg. Unfortunately, it turned out that his leg could not be saved and has been amputated. After recovering, he is doing well and is allowed to return to his familiar place by the sea where he lives with his pack. This pack is fed daily by an American volunteer. ❤️

❤️ Sponsor needed - Lucky Boy ❤️
Lucky Boy was found in July 2021 with severe TVT condition. TVT is a transmissible cancer that is mostly spread during mating. It is usually well treated with chemo injections which takes 4 to 6 weeks. Unfortunately, it was different with Lucky Boy and it took 1.5 years before he was cured again. Because of this he could no longer return to his own pack. That is why it was decided that he could stay in our care. He feels home here and has made new friends. Lucky is a very calm and sweet dog and is looking for a sponsor. Do you want to sponsor this darling?

Cow Care
In addition to dogs and cats, we also commit ourselves to other animals in need should we encounter them. Volunteer Nilobon found one cow that unfortunately could no longer walk and had several wounds. The cow is now cared for daily by Nilobon and is doing already a lot better. ❤️

Get Well Ked
Ked, the animal caretaker of our shelter in Hua Hin had a scooter accident. Out of nowhere, a stray dog suddenly ran in front of her front wheel, which unfortunately she could not avoid. Ked had to be taken to the hospital. Fortunately, she is stable, but it will take some time before she is back to her old self. The stray dog unfortunately died on the spot.
We want to prevent these kinds of accidents by sterilizing as much as possible to reduce the population of stray animals!
Ked is enormously missed in the shelter. We wish Ked all the best and a good recovery! ❤️
