Rescue cats

New collaboration 🤩

We are pleased to announce that we have entered into a new partnership with Caroline Meier.

Caroline has been our new on-site project coordinator for 2 months now.

Caroline is the owner of Sanctuary Caro's World in Pranburi (Hua Hin). Aftercare for the sick and injured animals will also take place in this sanctuary.

The partnership has brought us more opportunities and even more help for the stray animals. We are extremely happy with this development 🥳.

Urgent food needed!

Non "Nid Sirimara" provides shelter to over 300 stray dogs and cats in the town of Pranburi. Her life consists of taking care of these animals that would otherwise have a terrible existence on the streets.

But because non Nid has a serious shortage of food, these animals do not get to eat every day and this is of course not possible!

We have now delivered about 40 bags of food and this should last her for several weeks.

With a food sponsorship you immediately fill a food bowl and help these dogs survive. We want to help, but we can only do that with your support!

Together we make a difference and we can satisfy their hunger
🙏.

TVT infections

In the past 3 months, 4 dogs have been spotted with a TVT infection (transmissible venereal tumor) during the sterilization days.

TVT is a transmissible cancer that affects dogs. It is spread by the transfer of living cancer cells between dogs, usually during mating. The tumors are often bloody and can occur on the genitals, but also in other places such as the nose, mouth, eyes or skin when a dog licks or sniffs them.

Fortunately, it is easy to treat, often with chemotherapy, and has a good prognosis.
These dogs normally live in packs and will return to their familiar place when they are completely cured. They will then be fed daily by volunteers.

The cost for the total treatment is on average 400 euros per dog! 🫣

Help on distance

On Tuesday 24 June, Marlie Timmermans from Project Street Dogs Thailand was approached in the morning by several people in Thailand, including: a Dutch and

a Belgian friend and a Thai woman in connection with the concerns about this dog. They asked if Marlie could help her.

Veterinarian Dr. Billy in Thailand was called and he did not hesitate for a second and went there immediately to take a look. When he arrived there, it was decided to operate on the dog immediately. It turned out to be a tumor and fortunately the operation went well. The dog can now recover nicely with the care of the Thai woman.

Through cooperation and communication it was possible in this case to take immediate action. Even from the Netherlands and with a time difference of 5 hours
🤗.

Amputation

Unfortunately, this dog, named Coco, had contracted Sepsis caused by a wound on his right front leg.

Sepsis is a serious and life-threatening condition in which the immune system overreacts to an infection in the body.

Coco lives with a poor Thai family. Unfortunately, the family did not have the means to help the dog. Fortunately, we were able to help the dog. The only option was to save the dog by amputating his right front leg.

Coco is doing very well again. He can walk on 3 legs very well.

Coco is happy, family is happy, we are happy, what more could we want
❤️.

4 Persian cats rescued

These Persian cats were used for breeding. They were abandoned by their owner without mercy. They have all had a medical check-up and have been tested for FeLV (feline leukemia virus): 1 cat tested positive for FeLV.

They are staying in the shelter, where they receive medical help and attention ❤️.

We hope to find them a new home too!

Volunteer work in Thailand

Do you want to help animals in need locally?

Volunteering in Thailand offers a unique opportunity to improve the lives of dogs and cats.

At our colleagues Saved Souls Foundation in Khon Kaen (Khon Kaen province) and Caro’s World in Pranburi (Hua Hin, Pracuap Khiri Khan province), volunteers help with daily care, food, medical support and socialization.

Thanks to their efforts, rescued animals receive the care and love they deserve!

Every helping hand makes a difference! ❤️

Thanks to the support of Stichting Dierenhulp in the Netherlands, we can organize a sterilization day every month.

We are extremely grateful for this 🙏.

In the past three months, we have already been able to sterilize 410 animals. No more offspring for these animals thanks to Stichting Dierenhulp.

The requests for sterilization keep coming in. These are put on a list and this list is getting longer and longer.

Support from Stichting Abri voor Dieren
in the Netherlands.

We do our utmost to provide medical help to as many stray animals as possible and to relieve them of pain, itching and hunger.

In April we received a nice contribution from the Abri voor Dieren Foundation to help these animals.

Thank you on our behalf and of course also on behalf of the stray animals in Hua Hin and the surrounding area
🙏.

IN LOVING MEMORY
Pippi was found as a sick puppy in 2011 by Marlie Timmermans, founder of Project Street Dogs Thailand. Pippi received medical help and made a full recovery. She grew up in a temple in Hua Hin Thailand, where Marlie cared for more than 100 temple dogs every day.

In 2015, Pippi's life changed. She was adopted by Sara Davenport Piesco and Mark Piesco in California, USA. Two wonderful people with a big heart. They always took good care of Pippi, as if she were their own child. Thank you so much for this.

On June 18, 2025, Pippi passed away after a short but intense battle with an autoimmune disease.

RIP Pippi Lee Forever in our hearts ❤️.
