Cat House
|
At a temple in Hua Hin we build a new cat enclosure. Our coordinator Nilobon found a cat colony living in appalling conditions. Small dirty cages, hardly any protection against sun, rain and wind and many of the more than 64 kittens turned out to be sick and not sterilized.
|
After much consultation, we were able to get permission to build a decent cat enclosure, provide medical support to the cats and follow them up on a weekly basis.

Sterilization 1
|
|
In addition to the new cat enclosure, we also organized a sterilization day for them. A total of 28 cats have been helped. 13 female cats and 15 male cats! 13 cats with leukemia were skipped because they are currently too weak to be sterilized. The males of these are done. A number of young kittens will also have their turn next time. ❤️

Always nice to share great success stories! This time Pippi! She was rescued by Marlie in 2012 and in 2016 Pippi was adopted by Sara & Mark in California, USA. There, Pippi has grown into a very successful agility dog.

Sterilization 2
|
|
This month we had another successful sterilization day. This time in Bang Saphan, 150 km south of Hua Hin. Many Thai people from this area have come to the sterilization day with their animals. They don't have the resources to have their pets sterilized. We are happy that we were able to reach these people. A total of 52 animals were sterilized. Thanks to all volunteers! All animals are doing well! ❤️

Deworming
|
|
All 30 dogs in our shelter have had their deworming tablets again. Every 3 months they receive their tablets so they are protected against common worms. Where necessary, the tablets are hidden inside a sausage like for our dear Bello ❤️

Time flies! Another month has flown by.
|
In the past month we were able to do something nice for the dogs and cats, such as the new big cat enclosure at a temple for more than 70 kittens, 2 sterilization days in which a total of 83 animals were sterilized / castrated and in addition to this many more things such as feeding stray dogs, wound care etc. Another sterilization day and vaccination is planned next month. We wouldn't be able to do any of this without your support. Thank you for this. Together we are strong. ❤️
