Monthly Day
We had another great sterilization day. A total of 115 animals were sterilized. 41 dogs and 74 cats! Again there were many Thai people from Hua Hin and surroundings to have their pet sterilized. All animals are doing well! 🤗

Care nearby
An elderly Thai man who takes care of about 50 dogs receives regular visits from our volunteers. This way we can monitor the health of the dogs. A young dog unfortunately had 2 cysts on her cheeks. Luckily, these have been successfully removed and the dog is now back in her familiar place. ❤️

Clipped

One of our volunteers found a neglected dog cared for by an elderly Thai woman. The dog could use some extra care such as a necessary haircut and medical treatment against skin diseases and parasites. The dog has also been sterilized and vaccinated. After the recovery, the dog was lovingly received by the Thai woman together with her grandsons. We will visit Charlie regularly and provide care if necessary ❤️

Last but not least, A Pawesome Greeting!

8 years ago, my husband and I managed bungalows in Hua Hin, Thailand.
There, I came in contact with Marlie, who took care of many stray dogs in and around a temple. Fortunately, she soon found a few people and I joined them. Almost every day we went together to a temple to take care of the dogs. There were no donations at that time, volunteers paid for everything themselves. There was a partnership with local vets to help taking care of the dogs and also neuter them to reduce the huge amount of puppies.
Now, years later, a lot has been achieved. The Project Street Dogs Thailand foundation has been established, collaborations with other organizations have started and Thai volunteers are also helping out. After a surgery the dogs can be taken care of or even stay in a shelter for the rest of their lives, where they can be financially adopted.
My husband and I have also financially adopting a dog. From the Netherlands you help reduce the animal suffering.
I'm glad I could help with this project, but seeing so much animal suffering hurt me a lot. The Project Street Dogs Thailand Foundation is therefore in my heart. Every penny the foundation receives is spent on the animals. That is why I will continue to support this foundation. I hope you do too, so that they can continue their work. I would say become a monthly donor or sponsor a rescued dog.
