Project Street Dogs Thailand was there!

In August, we had the opportunity to attend a dog event at Market Village, a large shopping mall in Hua Hin, Thailand.

This event was organized by @Pet Us.
Visitors could have their dogs or cats vaccinated and groomed for free!
We were also able to provide a lot of information about spaying and the health of dogs and cats.

Pet Us generously donated a truckload of dog food, which we distributed to local volunteers who feed street dogs, as well as to people who cannot afford to feed their animals with good food.

A big thank you to all the volunteers who selflessly contributed! ❤️

Grooming Days in Hua Hin

We also gave the (street) dogs in Hua Hin a grooming session again this year, together with dog groomer Khun Addy!
Grooming dogs is great for their health, hygiene, and comfort.
It helps prevent tangles, dirt buildup, and potential skin problems.
Thank you, Khun Addy, and all the volunteers ❤️

Distribution of dog supplies and vaccinations

The donations we receive, we are happy to share with the local community to support them. For example, we distributed a package to the residents of Pala U. This package contained not only dog food but also vaccinations, eye drops, and clothing for cats.
Thank you to our donors who make this possible! Thanks to your support, we can help the local community where it’s needed. ❤️

Vaccinating the temple and beach dogs

This year, we have once again helped with vaccinating the temple dogs and the dogs at the beach bars. Thanks to the annual vaccinations, they are once again protected against dangerous diseases.
Thank you to all our donors for your support!
Together, we make a difference and help the street dogs. 🙏🐾

❤️ Our shop! ❤️

Dear friends, did you know that we also have an online shop?
In our shop, you’ll find beautiful handmade items! 🛍️✨

And the best part: all proceeds go to the stray animals in Thailand. With this, we support spaying, vaccinations, and medical care.

Take a look now and help us make a difference! 💕🐾

Successful Andere Mèrt

This year, we once again had a successful day at the "Andere Mèrt" in Geldrop. The beautiful weather, the wonderful people, and the great proceeds from the sales made it a huge success!

A big thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who selflessly helped. Your contribution made for a fun and successful day! ❤️

Visiting Amsterdam!

We also receive support for our foundation from the Netherlands.
Dear Marja Lust from Amsterdam donated dog supplies from her late dogs, Beer and Prins. Unfortunately, they both passed away this year, shortly after each other.
With this donation, we have been able to make other dogs very happy. Thank you, Marja, for your hospitality, openness, and this beautiful gesture. ❤️

Spaying and Neutering Projects

This past year, we have primarily focused on spaying and neutering.

Thanks to the support of Stichting Dierenhulp, we are able to organize a large-scale spaying and neutering day every month. Over the past year, no fewer than 2,418 animals were spayed or neutered.

We are incredibly grateful to Stichting Dierenhulp for their support, which makes this important work possible. 💕

Puppy with a broken leg!

Just before the end of the year, our volunteers came across this puppy in need.

The pup, who was likely hit by a car, had both of her hind legs broken. She has been named Jessy. Since she is still so young, we are waiting before taking further steps, as surgery might not be necessary.

This sweet girl is also available for adoption!
Interested? Send us an email at: info@streetdogsthailand.com.

Dog Poisonings

More shocking news to end the year!
An attempt was made to poison five dogs.
We received a call early in the morning and immediately went to the location with a local veterinarian.
Two dogs were unconscious, and three were very ill.
Fortunately, we arrived in time, and all five dogs survived. They are now healthy and back in their environment.
We are now considering installing camera surveillance.

Sick dog rescued

This month we also rescued a dog with an infected uterus.

This sweetheart is now recovering and got even luckier: a Thai family saw our post and decided to adopt her!

She has now been given the beautiful name Jasmine. All’s well that ends well!

The Christmas Market

At the end of the year, we also held a cozy Christmas market in Mierlo!

The entire proceeds from this market went to the stray animals in Thailand.

A big thank you to Sonja Terlouw for your dedication and help 🙏🏼.

Last but not least, A Pawesome Greeting!

Dear Animal Friends,

This time, our newsletter is a bit longer than you’re used to, but it’s packed with extra information!

Over the past year, we managed to spay and neuter no fewer than 2,418 animals!
An incredible achievement.

We also helped many sick and injured dogs and cats this year.

Unfortunately, there were also sad moments, as we had to say goodbye to some of the dogs in our care.
Saying goodbye is always hard, but it is an inevitable part of life.

We stay positive and cherish the loving memories of them.

Together, we worked hard this past year to support animals in need. With your help, we can continue to make a real difference!
And achieve wonderful successes for as many stray animals in Thailand as possible.

Thank you for your support!

Wishing you a prosperous and healthy 2025!

Animal-friendly regards,
Marlie Timmermans
